Dances with live music on the 2nd Saturday of every month held in Balboa Park at non-smoking/non-alcohol
venues: Recital Hall, War Memorial Building and Balboa Park Club. Check the calendar below for specific venue,
and click on Balboa Park Map for location. Huge dance floors at each venue! Kids accompanied by a parent are welcome.

5-6 pm Zydeco Lesson, Beginning & Intermediate by Greg Benusa
6-8 pm DJ'd Zydeco Dance from the hottest Louisiana bands. Videos of festivals shown all night.

Directions: From Interstate 5 south, exit at 10th Avenue in downtown San Diego, turn left on A Street, turn left on Park Blvd., go over freeway bridge, continue about one mile to Zoo Drive. Cajun/Creole Week at Davis and Elkins College, Elkins, West Virginia
Music and culture emersion featuring workshops with most respected Cajun and Creole musicians who will keep the dance pavilion throbbing. Informal jam sessions, a mid-week party with Cajun cuisine, concerts, sessions in the Icehouse and on the “porch,” and music in the dancers’ ears will create a sea of smiling faces for the whole week.
