Mike Broussard is a talented musician coming all the way from Southwest Louisiana to play for our March dance. And a special thanks to David Sousa and his Zydeco Mudbugs band for backing Mike in this zydeco jam dance. See more info about Mike below.
But that’s not all. It’s the Bon Temps Social Club 31st Anniversary!
We will also celebrate our decades of passing a good time together at this dance. We encourage you to wear a Gator By The Bay t-shirt or your BTSC t-shirt (yep, that grey one from the ’90s when we did a big demo at the Del Mar Fair). Any other vintage club or Gator buttons, pins, hats, photos? Bring ’em too!
We have some fun anniversary celebration options for during the band’s break including a special dance, a group photo, and, of course, let there be cake!
Wait! There’s more! Special Guest Dance Instructor this Saturday.
Guest instructor, Erin Brandt, will be helping with Saturday’s dance lesson from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. You may have seen or attended one of her dance workshops in the past at Gator By The Bay, and, if not, check out this dynamic video clip from 2013. We are fortunate to have her with us this Saturday!

Broussard revels in the joy of the musical ride, reflecting on his roots and providing his children with similar opportunities. Beyond the spotlight, the Broussard family bonds over their shared love for music as they play at trail rides and create melodies together. Whether performing on stage or enjoying their craft in more casual settings, Broussard emphasizes a harmonious atmosphere, declaring, “it’s no bad vibes” in the world of his music.
